Port0r: Rally VR

Sega Rally, from the inside

Not a flat screen floating in a room. Port0r takes the real 3D scene the arcade board draws, rebuilds it for each of your eyes and puts you inside it, at real scale. The car sits in front of you, the hills have volume, the trees pass by your shoulder.

Locked 60 fps smoothed to 120 Hz, the arcade's exact colours, a manual gearbox on the side grips, vibrations on every wall hit, jump and contact.

What's in it

• HD textures: Jean-seb's community pack, found and set up by itself (his video, download link in its description).
• Discord leaderboard: link your Discord once, publish your stage times at the end of a game, one board per course.
• Settings panel in 10 languages, records saved, mods (free timer, free play, sporty automatic gearbox, adaptive steering, mirrored track with the co-driver mirrored too, telemetry) and styles (night, comic, black and white).

Bring your own game files

No game data is included. You need your own copy of the arcade game: the MAME set srallyc.zip (and segabill.zip if your set needs it). We never provide or link game files, please don't ask.

Install

1. Turn on Developer Mode on your Quest (Meta Horizon app on your phone > Devices > Headset settings).
2. Install the APK with SideQuest or adb install -r.
3. Copy your game files to the headset's Download folder (SideQuest, USB cable, or the headset's browser).
4. Launch it from Library > Unknown sources, allow "All files access": the game starts by itself.
